Ngawi Education Office Opens Access for 730 School Dropouts

The Education and Culture Office of Ngawi Regency has recorded that 730 students at the primary and junior high school levels have dropped out of school as of May 2026. To mitigate the risk of these children failing to return to formal education, the local government is partnering with villages, urban communities, and schools to provide direct mentoring. Additionally, the authorities are preparing educational access through Community Learning Centres (PKBM) and the ‘Sekolah Rakyat’ (People’s School) programme.
