The achievement marks an important milestone for Kemenko PM as a newly established ministry in building accountable, transparent and high-integrity financial governance.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment has received an Unqualified Opinion (Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian, WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for its 2025 financial statements.
“Firstly, we are deeply grateful for the audit carried out by our colleagues at BPK on Kemenko PM as a new institution,” said Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar in Jakarta on Monday.
According to him, the achievement is an important milestone for Kemenko PM as a new ministry in building accountable, transparent and high-integrity financial governance.
Muhaimin Iskandar, together with senior and junior high-ranking officials of Kemenko PM, directly received the Audit Result Report on the 2025 Financial Statements from Member III of BPK Akhsanul Khaq and the audit team at the Kemenko PM office in Jakarta.
He affirmed that all recommendations conveyed by BPK would be promptly followed up as a form of the ministry’s commitment to realising clean, accountable and high-integrity governance.
“The recommendations in the audit report will be immediately followed up as our commitment to realising a clean and integrity-driven government. I also extend my appreciation to the entire BPK team for their assessment, input and constructive recommendations, which will strengthen the financial governance management of Kemenko PM so that it becomes healthier and stronger,” said Muhaimin Iskandar.
According to him, as a newly established coordinating ministry, Kemenko PM continues to strengthen its institutional systems so that it can carry out its coordinating function optimally in support of various national priority programmes.
He said strengthening financial governance is an important part of supporting the implementation of various strategic government policies, particularly those relating to accelerating poverty alleviation, improving community welfare, enhancing the quality of governance, and community empowerment.
“What we are doing is part of the implementation of various Presidential Instructions, Presidential Decrees and Presidential Regulations that form the basis of Kemenko PM’s duties. Therefore, BPK’s assessment and recommendations are also an important part of ensuring the success of these various national priority programmes,” said Muhaimin Iskandar.
