New Xiaomi Smart Band surfaces in regulatory database
A new Xiaomi Smart Band, speculated to be part of the Smart Band 11 series, has appeared in regulatory databases in Taiwan and Singapore, indicating an imminent product launch. According to Gizmochina’s report on Sunday (24 May), the device with model number M2561B1 has been listed in Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) and Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) databases. Both the NCC and IMDA categorise the device as a Smart Band without specifying its official marketing name. However, the model numbering provides clues about its position within Xiaomi’s product lineup. For reference, Xiaomi previously used model numbers M2551B1 and M2553B1 for the standard and NFC versions of the recently launched Smart Band 10 Pro. Therefore, the newly discovered M2561B1 model found on certification sites is expected to belong to the Smart Band 11 series. Some speculate the device could be the Smart Band 11 Active. Xiaomi recently launched the Smart Band 10 Pro in China, featuring a 1.74-inch curved AMOLED display, updated health sensors, and enhanced fitness tracking features. Previously, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro was a popular budget-friendly fitness tracker in various global markets. Xiaomi’s Smart Band series has built a reputation for competitively priced health and fitness support devices. The new device listed in regulatory databases is expected to bring improvements in tracking accuracy, software features, and battery optimisation.
