New Work Trends Demand Job Seekers to Be More Productive and Adaptive
JAKARTA — New work trends are encouraging job seekers not only to be ready to work but also to be more productive and adaptive in responding to the continuously evolving needs of the industry.
From 2025 to early 2026, workforce solutions provider Staffinc has observed changes in labour demands across industries, marked by strengthened capabilities in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and increasing demands for workforce quality.
“Many companies still view labour as an operational necessity,” said Staffinc’s Chief Commercial Officer Margana Mohamad at an event in Jakarta last March, in a press statement on Wednesday (22/4/2026).
“Yet, in the field, they are the determining factor in execution that directly impacts business results.”
This change reflects a shift in business needs, where labour is no longer just required to be work-ready but also capable of directly driving performance.
On the other hand, increasing operational complexity, from multi-channel distribution to demands for speed and service consistency, requires companies to have stronger visibility into field workforce performance.
In response to these trends, Staffinc is preparing several strategic focuses for 2026, from strengthening workforce performance measurement to integrating artificial intelligence-based technology in the recruitment process.
“Looking ahead, the challenge is not just about workforce availability,” said Margana.
“But how to ensure the quality and consistency of their performance.”
This drives an approach that not only focuses on workforce placement but also on performance measurement directly linked to operational efficiency.
As part of these efforts, Staffinc has developed the AI Interviewer system, an artificial intelligence-based technology designed to enhance efficiency and consistency in the candidate selection process.
While conventionally one recruiter can only interview around 5-10 candidates per day, this technology enables the process to be conducted on a much larger scale, up to hundreds or even thousands of candidates in a single day without time and capacity limitations.
For information, Staffinc is a workforce solutions provider operating since 2018.
Staffinc plans to introduce the Staffinc Industry Center, which will begin operating in the second quarter of 2026. This facility is designed as a collaboration space for industry partners to share insights and discuss operational challenges.
To date, Staffinc has more than 2 million partners in over 350 cities in Indonesia and has supported more than 310 companies in managing their workforce operations.
