New trick by pickpockets
New trick by pickpockets
From Kompas
Now pickpockets have a new ruse they employ in minivans
operating as public transportation.
Two or more men offer the passengers brochures of traditional
medicine for free. One of them offers a free massage to the
would-be victim, while the other sits next to him. When the
attention of the victim is diverted, the one sitting next to him
empties the contents of his pocket.
On leaving the minivan, oddly, they often boldly say: "You've
lost your cellular phone, haven't you?" In the confusion, one is
never sure which one of them committed the crime. It could quite
possibly be the third one, who posed as a passenger and was left
sitting quietly after the "brochure distributors" got out of the
minivan.
