New traffic routes applied in S. Jakarta

JAKARTA: The flow of traffic on Jl. Ciputat Raya and several
roads in South Jakarta will be changed starting on Tuesday in
order to ease traffic congestion in the area.

Motorists from the direction of Jl. Bintaro Raya, Tanah Kusir,
heading east should turn left on Jl. Ciputat Raya as they are not
allowed make a right turn.

Under the new regulation, vehicles from Jl. Ciputat Raya may
take a right turn at Jl. Bungur.

But from Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda, motorists are not allowed
to take a right turn to Jl. Bungur. Those who want to go in the
direction of Tanah Kusir should now take another route, making a
right turn on Jl. Cendrawasih, taking another right turn on to
Jl. Ciputat Raya and then turn left on to Jl. Bintaro Raya.

Jl. Bungur and a section of Jl. Ciputat Raya will be open to
one-way traffic only. -- JP
