New spirit in Aceh

Recently, civil servants in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam province
firmly condemned Aceh separatists and pledged allegiance to the
Unitary Republic of Indonesia.

The Acehnese have begun to rise to assist TNI (the Indonesian
Military) in hunting down members of the separatist GAM (Free
Aceh Movement). The new spirit that now burns among the civil
servants must lead to close cooperation between the Acehnese and
TNI in speeding up the restoration of security and rebuilding
Aceh for a better future.

When people love their country, they fight to the death to
resist any disturbance from home or abroad. The state protects
and guarantees the right of the people as citizens, so it is also
their obligation to defend their country.
