New phase in family murder case as defendant claims coercion to lie after death threats

Surprising developments emerged amid the ongoing hearing into the murder of an entire family from Paoman, Indramayu, held at the Indramayu District Court on Monday, 18 May 2026. The session was set to hear testimony from defendant Priyo Bagus Setiawan concerning co-defendant Ririn Rifanto. In his testimony, Priyo denied the involvement of four individuals he had previously named as perpetrators: Aman Yani, Hardi, Yoga and Joko.
