New OJK Leaders from Friderica to Thomas Djiwandono Officially Sworn in at the Supreme Court
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Seven members of the Board of Commissioners (DK) of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) officially took their oaths of office before the Supreme Court (MA) on Wednesday (25/3/2026). This ceremony marks the beginning of their term in safeguarding the financial services sector.
Chief Justice Sunarto directly led the oath-taking after reading out Presidential Decree No. 30/P of 2026 dated 17 March 2026. The decree states that the appointments take effect from the date of the oath.
“You have been appointed as Chair, Vice Chair, and Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority. Before assuming office, you must take the oath,” said Sunarto.
The members then took their oaths according to their respective religions. OJK DK Chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi, along with the other members, affirmed their commitment to maintaining integrity and avoiding deviant practices.
“In the name of Allah, I swear that I will not give or promise anything to anyone,” said Friderica and the other members.
They also committed to not accepting any gifts in any form while carrying out their duties.
“I swear that in carrying out this office, I will not accept, either directly or indirectly, from anyone, any promise or gift in any form,” she continued.
Furthermore, the members pledged to carry out their duties with full responsibility in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as loyalty to the Unitary Republic of Indonesia and the 1945 Constitution.
The seven DK OJK members sworn in include OJK DK Chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Vice Chair Hernawan Bekti Sasongko, and five other members.
They are Hasan Fawzi as Executive Head of Supervision for Capital Markets, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange; Dicky Kartikoyono as Executive Head of Supervision for Business Conduct in Financial Services, Education, and Consumer Protection; and Adi Budiarso as Executive Head of Supervision for Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets.
In addition, there are two ex officio members, namely Juda Agung from the Ministry of Finance and Thomas A.M. Djiwandono from Bank Indonesia.
In their oaths, the members also stated that they would carry out their duties with full responsibility and loyalty to the Unitary Republic of Indonesia and the 1945 Constitution.
