New Military Command Location in DIY to Utilise Sultan Ground

The Military Regional Command (Kodam) XXVI/Mataram is confirmed to be established in the Godean district, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY).

Kodam Mataram is one of six new military commands officially formed on 5 October, coinciding with the 81st anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

The land used for the construction of the Kodam Mataram headquarters will utilise Sultan Ground (SG), or the Sultanate’s land, in Sleman.

The Head of Information for Korem 072/Pamungkas, Major Inf Suwito, confirmed that the final location in Sidoluhur Village, Godean, has undergone a final review process.
