On his first day in office, Malang Police Chief AKBP Rulian Syauri immediately moved to build synergy with law enforcement officials in Malang Regency. He paid courtesy visits to the Kepanjen District Court (PN) and the Malang District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari).
The first visit was made to the Kepanjen Class IA District Court office on Thursday (30/7/2026). There, AKBP Rulian met with the Head of the Kepanjen District Court, Dr Arizal Anwar. Afterwards, the entourage continued their visit to the Malang District Prosecutor’s Office and was welcomed by the Head of the Malang District Prosecutor’s Office, Dr Fahmi.
During the visit, AKBP Rulian was accompanied by the heads of operational units from the Malang Police. The presence of these key officials was part of an effort to strengthen coordination and synergy among law enforcement agencies in Malang Regency.
AKBP Rulian stated that the visit was his initial step after being entrusted to lead the Malang Police. In addition to introducing himself, he aimed to build close communication with all elements of law enforcement.
"As a new official at the Malang Police, I certainly need to build communication and maintain good relations with all law enforcement elements. This is the first step to strengthening synergy in maintaining public security and order within the Malang Police jurisdiction," said Rulian.
According to him, synergy between the police, courts, and prosecutors is key to ensuring the law enforcement process runs optimally. This collaboration is also expected to maintain a conducive public security and order situation (kamtibmas).
"We want to build increasingly strong synergy, so that the entire law enforcement process can run well and the kamtibmas situation in the Malang Police jurisdiction remains safe, conducive, and under control," he said.
Rulian added that communication with law enforcement officials and various community elements would continue to be strengthened during his tenure as Malang Police Chief.
"Going forward, we will continue to maintain this communication and coordination. With strong synergy between the Malang Police and all stakeholders, I hope we can jointly provide a sense of security and the best service to the people of Malang Regency," he concluded.
