New Lampung police chief

BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: Col. Gendro Budi Santoso will be installed Saturday as Lampung Police chief, replacing Col. Didy Kusumayadi.

Lt. Zainal Gunawan of the Lampung Police said the deputy national police chief, Lt. Gen. Luthfi Dahlan, would officiate at the ceremony.

According to Antara, Col. Gendro was a former deputy chief of the Lampung Police. His predecessor will join the National Resilience Institute for training. (mds)
