PT Jetour Sales Indonesia has officially introduced its latest SUV, the Jetour T1, to the Indonesian market. This ‘Urban Adventure SUV’ model is presented with two powertrain options: an internal combustion engine (ICE) and an Intelligent Dual Mode (i-DM) hybrid, designed to meet consumer demand for modern, efficient, and flexible vehicles.

Caroline Ling, President Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, stated that the arrival of the Jetour T1 is part of the company’s ‘Travel+’ strategy, which focuses on developing new energy technology and integrated mobility services. She noted that the Jetour T1 combines rugged design, intelligent hybrid technology, premium comfort, and reliable performance to support various Indonesian lifestyles.

The marketing strategy addresses a market that is increasingly open to electrification but still requires practical vehicles for daily use and long-distance travel. The hybrid i-DM variant features Intelligent Dual Mode technology, combining a petrol engine with an electric motor, supported by an ACTECO 1.5 TGDI engine and an 18.4 kWh LFP battery. This system delivers 136 PS with 220 Nm of torque from the engine, while the electric motor provides 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque. The engine boasts a thermal efficiency of 44.5 per cent, one of the highest in its class.

The LFP battery supports DC fast charging, capable of reaching 30% to 80% in just 27 minutes, and features an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. In pure electric mode, the Jetour T1 i-DM can travel up to 100 kilometres based on the WLTC standard. The vehicle also offers various driving modes, including Pure EV Drive for urban traffic and Direct Engine Drive for high-speed cruising.

In terms of comfort, the SUV features 79 sound-dampening points, double-layer acoustic glass, and ultra-quiet NVH technology. The vehicle’s dimensions include a length of 4,705 mm, a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, and a boot capacity of 1,455 litres. Additional features include 24-hour parking AC, Dual Zone AC, and a 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, allowing the car to act as an external power source.

Safety is addressed through a monocoque chassis constructed with 80 per cent high-strength steel, complemented by 13 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features. For those preferring conventional engines, the Jetour T1 ICE variant is also available.

Michael Budihardja, Sales Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, emphasised the company’s commitment to providing relevant value to Indonesian consumers by offering a choice between electrification and conventional driving experiences. The Jetour T1 is available in five colours, with the ‘Electroplated Green’ option requiring an additional cost of Rp10 million. For the Indonesian market, the Jetour T1 is priced at Rp408 million (on the road, Jakarta), while the Jetour T1 i-DM is priced at Rp558 million. As a launch promotion, the first 500 customers can purchase the models for Rp388 million and Rp538 million, respectively.
