New investors in Lippo's unit

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA): Hutchison Whampoa Ltd, China Resources
Enterprise and Softbank Corp will take stakes in Lippo group's 80
percent-owned unit Across Asia Multimedia Ltd, the Oriental Daily
News reported.

The report said Hutchison Whampoa, CRE and Softbank will
become strategic partners of Across Asia Multimedia by taking a
total of 8.15 percent in the company.

Across Asia, which is scheduled to list on the GEM board on
July 13, is a telecommunication service provider and investor,
focusing on broadband network and Internet businesses.
