New Indonesia?

Allow me to pose the following questions to members of the
House of Representatives:
1. What do House members think of the term "New Indonesia", which
has been popularized through television broadcasts and
newspapers? Does this term contradict the aspirations of the
proclamation of Aug. 17, 1945, or not?
2. Has the term "New Indonesia" been specially coined as a
political term by a particular group wishing to see the return of
the New Order? It is a fact that many government positions in
regional administrations at the provincial,
district/municipality, sub-district and village levels, are still
in the hands of the functional group (the Golkar Party).
3. Why isn't the term "New Indonesia" replaced by "the Greater
Indonesia", as the latter has a clear mission and vision for
today and tomorrow?
