New forestry officials

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Forestry Djamaludin Suryohadikusumo
yesterday revamped 22 second echelon positions at his office.

"This is the largest reassignment of officials during my two-
year tenure in the Ministry of Forestry," Djamaludin told
journalists after installing the 22 officials.

The new line-up of officials includes Soedarto Kartodihardjo,
director of concession preparation, Soegeng Widodo, director of
forest exploitation, Walter Nadapdap, director of forestry
products and distribution -- all at the directorate general of
forestry development.

The new officials also include Ishak Sumantri, director of
program management at the directorate general of forestry
inventory and land use planning in Bogor, 60 kilometers south of
