REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – At the Indonesia International Coal & Energy Exhibition 2026, DOGO Power is showcasing the theme “Lighting Up the World with Economical, Reliable, and Stable Green Power”. DOGO Power is introducing an integrated solution in the form of a grid-forming energy storage system and microgrid for green mining, which addresses the main challenges of the energy transition in the mining sector in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.

According to data from Global Energy Monitor, coal mines in Indonesia generate approximately 58 million tons of CO2e methane emissions per year. As a result, Indonesia is one of the largest methane-emitting mining countries in the world. This situation further drives the industry’s need for more low-carbon and efficient energy solutions.

“DOGO Power offers green energy services throughout the operational cycle for local mining companies, as well as supporting the transformation of the Indonesian mining industry towards low-carbon and more efficient operations,” said a representative from DOGO Power, Pan Pamela, in a press release on Friday (15/5/2026).

Amid the global energy transition, the conventional mining industry is rapidly transforming towards a sustainable business model. As the largest economy in Southeast Asia and one of the world’s major mining hubs, mining companies operating in Indonesia face two challenges: maintaining energy supply security while implementing a green transformation.

Through its independently developed “4S Grid-Forming” technology, DOGO Power integrates four main systems, namely energy management, power management, energy storage conversion, and battery management. With an integrated architecture and intelligent inter-system collaboration, DOGO Power builds a safe, efficient, and integrated energy ecosystem for mining activities.
