New condos on the way

JAKARTA (JP): A topping off ceremony was held yesterday for
the new Amartapura Condominiums New condominiums in Lippo
Karawaci Tangerang, West Java.

Jeanny L. Wullur, the company spokeswoman, said US$80 million
was invested in the 51-story and 41-story "twin" buildings that
were built by PT. Lippo Hyundai Development, a joint company of
Lippoland and Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd.

According to Jeanny, the buildings will be equipped with
helipads and fire safety equipment such as fire detectors and
automatic sprinklers in each room, emergency lifts and emergency
exits.

A 24-hour surveillance system equipped with a video system
will enable guest identification before entering buildings, she
said. Tenants will be provided with access-card keys to enter the
lobbies, she added. (26)
