New Chapter in Mystery of Sutrimo's Death, Ex-Household Manager of Febrie Adriansyah, as Family Suspects Foul Play
The family of Sutrimo, the household head (Karumga) of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) Febrie Adriansyah, has finally spoken out regarding Sutrimo’s death. The family has reported the case to the police to obtain certainty about the cause of his death.
The report was filed at Banyumas Police Station and recorded under number STTLP/79/VIII/2026/SPKT/POLRESTA BANYUMAS/POLDA JAWA TENGAH.
The family’s lawyer, Aan Rohaeni, said the report was submitted because the family wanted to know whether Sutrimo’s death was natural or whether there were other matters that needed to be investigated.
“In principle, the family is only asking for legal certainty regarding the death of Sutrimo. Whether it was natural or not, that is all,” said Aan, quoted on Monday 10 August 2026.
Sutrimo was found lifeless in front of Mordent Clinic, South Jakarta, on Thursday 23 July 2026.
Polda Metro Jaya has so far conducted a series of investigations by gathering statements from the family, the ambulance driver, hospital staff, and several other people who were aware of the incident.
Investigators have also traced Sutrimo’s medical records, ambulance booking data, and the location where the victim was first found. When found dead, Sutrimo’s mouth was reportedly foaming.
Aan said the family initially accepted Sutrimo’s death. However, various pieces of information that emerged after the incident made the family feel the need to obtain an official explanation regarding the cause of death of the man from Wlahar Village, Banyumas Regency.
According to Aan, the circulating information not only raised questions for the family but also affected the community where Sutrimo lived.
“Because the news is confusing here and there, it disturbs the surrounding environment for the family and also the community in Wlahar Village. So the family wants certainty,” he said.
The report made by the family then became the basis for the police to further investigate the case.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, confirmed the existence of a report regarding Sutrimo’s death which was deemed unnatural.
Budi said the report was received by the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police from the complainant or the public. In the report, the complainant requested that the police carry out an exhumation of Sutrimo’s body.
