The Gianyar Police Resort now has a new building named Bhara Daksa. The building, inaugurated by Bali Provincial Police Chief Irjen Daniel Adityajaya, will serve as the new home for four units within the Gianyar Police Resort. “The inauguration of this new building is a strategic step in supporting improvements to predictive, responsible, and fair transparent public services within the Gianyar Police Resort,” said Gianyar Police Chief AKBP Chandra Kesuma in his statement on Thursday (7/5/2026). detikBali observed several rooms on all floors of the new building. Its location is about 3 metres from the east side of the main Gianyar Police Resort building. The building is currently empty. There is a reception desk, one room for the Polair Unit, and one empty room on the first floor. Then, there are rooms for the Narcotics Unit, Logistics, Pam Obvit Unit, and another Narcotics Unit on the second floor. In total, there are six rooms and three toilets available on the second floor. Meanwhile, on the third floor, there are two halls, one electrical room, one kitchen, and two toilets. The two halls were built to facilitate two different events held simultaneously. “This building is part of the Gianyar Police Resort’s efforts to improve the quality of services to the community,” said Chandra. Chandra stated that Bhara Daksa was built to facilitate the performance of those four units. It is hoped that this will have a positive impact on the quality of services to the community. However, there is no decision yet on when the four units will occupy their new rooms. To date, all personnel from the four units are still working in the main Gianyar Police Resort building. “With more representative facilities, we hope that police services can run even more optimally, professionally, and humanely,” he said. For information, the building began construction in October 2025. With a building area of 1,578 square metres, the new structure cost Rp 20 billion. “With this new building, I hope the quality of services to the community will improve further. The facilities that have been built should be maintained and utilised as best as possible to support police duties,” said Daniel.
