JAKARTA: German-based automotive magazine Auto Bild in association with local publisher Gramedia-Majalah group introduced Auto Bild Indonesia at the Auto Mall in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) in South Jakarta on Tuesday.

The magazine will be published in Indonesia by Gramedia- Majalah group in cooperation with Axel Springer Verlag, which publishes Auto Bild in Germany. The Auto Bild franchise is available in 14 countries with various names.

"The presence of licensed media is unavoidable as the market demands such media," Gramedia-Majalah director Widi Krastawan said in a media statement made available to The Jakarta Post on Friday.

The biweekly, 80-page, full-color magazine will be sold at the introductory price of Rp 10,000 (US$1.17) and will cover both international and local automotive news.
