New Autodesk training center

JAKARTA (JP): Trisakti University and Autodesk Indonesia have
jointly opened a computer aided design (CAD) training center at
the university's school of mechanical engineering.

Autodesk's product manager, Tay Wijoyo, said yesterday the
training center, named the Autodesk authorized training center,
was officially launched on May 30.

The Trisakti's training facility brings the number of
authorized Autodesk training centers in Indonesia to 17.

He said the centers were important in guaranteeing the quality
of training on AutoCAD or Autodesk Mechanical Desktops.

"The authorization of the center guarantees the fulfillment of
minimum requirements regarding the contents of training given to
the participants," Tay said.

All participants who complete the training will receive an
internationally recognized certificate, he said.

He said the certificates were equivalent to ones issued by
overseas Autodesk training centers like those in London,
Singapore and New York. (cst)
