Exactly six days after the 6th National Congress (Munas) held at the Jakarta Hajj Dormitory, the new logo for APKLI Merah Putih has received approval from the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Sufmi Ahmad Dasco.

The Chairman of the Association of Small, Micro, and Street Vendor Enterprises (APKLI) Merah Putih, Ali Mahsun Atmo, stated that this endorsement marks a new chapter for the rebranded organisation following its sixth National Congress, aimed at more vigorously supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s flagship programmes.

“Exactly six days after the 6th National Congress in Jakarta, the APKLI Merah Putih logo received approval from the Deputy Speaker of the House, Sufmi Ahmad Dasco,” Ali said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

He noted that during the meeting, the delegation also met with the Speaker of the MPR RI, Ahmad Muzani, and the State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi. He added that these meetings serve to boost the organisation’s energy and act as an adrenaline surge to help succeed in the President’s five priority programmes.

During the 6th National Congress, APKLI Merah Putih declared its support for the government’s five priority initiatives: Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP), Red and White Fishing Villages (KNMP), People’s Schools, and the 3 Million People’s Houses programme.

“We express our gratitude and appreciation for being granted an audience with Mr Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker of the House,” he said.

Ali added that the approval of the new logo serves as a renewed catalyst and driver for the spirit of the organisation, as well as for small, micro-business owners and street vendors across the country.

“This logo is the right one for APKLI Merah Putih. God willing, I will attend the inauguration of the APKLI Merah Putih Central Executive Board for 2026-2031 in early October 2026,” said Dasco.

On the same occasion, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi noted that APKLI Merah Putih possesses members spanning the entire Indonesian archipelago. Meanwhile, the Speaker of the MPR RI, Ahmad Muzani, offered his congratulations to the newly elected management of APKLI Merah Putih.

APKLI Perjuangan officially changed its name to the Association of Small, Micro, and Street Vendor Enterprises (APKLI) Merah Putih through the 6th National Congress, which took place at Wisma Haji, East Jakarta, from 25-27 August 2026.

Under the 2026-2031 management period, APKLI Merah Putih is committed to consolidating millions of MSME players and street vendors in Indonesia to ensure they become a primary pillar of equitable national economic growth.
