According to Temi, colour choices are the main foundation that gives an elegant impression while also being easy to mix and match.

“In 2026, if I look at the colours, the majority will return to basic colours, such as cream, grey, black, and others,” said Temi at the Modest Luxe press conference at Sarinah Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (24/2/2026).

Although neutral colours dominate, Temi believes that bright colours will still have a place as a balancing element.

Bright colours appear as accents that give a fresh impression without losing the elegant nuance typical of Eid fashion.

This combination reflects the courage of modest fashion brands in playing with colours, while also adapting to a market that is increasingly open to exploring styles.

The colour pink, for example, is no longer just associated with femininity, but appears as a modern and versatile neutral alternative.

In addition to colour, the silhouette of clothing has also undergone significant developments. Temi said that abayas are back as a prominent trend for Eid 2026.

However, abayas now come with a more adaptive approach to the lifestyle of urban women.

“Interestingly, abayas are back as a new trend in 2026, so those who may not be used to wearing abayas will have many choices now,” she said.
