Pro-Palestinian activists held demonstrations in Washington DC, USA, to protest the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A number of activists managed to enter the hotel where Netanyahu was dining, shouting harsh condemnations at the Israeli Prime Minister.

The confrontation, as reported by The Jerusalem Post and TRT World on Friday (31/07/2026), occurred when several pro-Palestinian activists successfully entered the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, Washington DC, on Monday (27/07) local time. They attempted to enter the restaurant where Netanyahu was having dinner.

Security personnel and US police officers acted swiftly to forcibly remove the activists from the hotel building. During the removal process, the pro-Palestinian activists continued to shout their condemnations of Netanyahu.

“Bibi, Bibi, you cannot hide. You have committed genocide!” shouted one pro-Palestinian activist in the hotel lobby area, as heard in video footage published by TRT World.

“War criminal! Baby killer!” another activist added.

The activists continued to shout their condemnations of Netanyahu, even as they were escorted by security personnel and US police officers out of the hotel lobby area.

This incident occurred amidst tight security surrounding the Israeli Prime Minister during his visit to Washington DC. Netanyahu held meetings with US President Donald Trump and high-ranking American officials, and also attended a memorial service for the late US Senator Lindsey Graham, a staunch supporter of Israel.

The confrontation at the hotel took place alongside broader protests across various parts of Washington DC, where hundreds of demonstrators marched towards the White House and US government office complexes. During the protest, demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and carried banners and posters expressing opposition to Netanyahu’s visit.

On the streets of Washington DC, demonstrators also asserted their strong rejection of US support for Israel’s military operations. Using loudspeakers, protesters urged the US government to execute the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants against Netanyahu regarding allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza war.

“Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal; the only place he deserves is behind the bars of the ICC, as there is already an arrest warrant for that, and I do not want my tax money used to defend someone like him,” shouted one demonstrator.

“We demand that the United States government comply with the ICC warrant and arrest Netanyahu, then hand him over to the international court so that he may be held accountable for his actions in orchestrating the genocide against the Palestinian people,” stated another demonstrator.
