now if this is true -- and that remains to be seen -- it will be a considerable advance! i've had dozens of clients, consultants, who have been forced into phony "joint ventures" or nominee arrangements because of the requirement for 51% indonesian equity in this field of activity.
however, a quick call to senior officials at the BKPM (investment board) reveals that they know absolutely nothing about these changes!
