JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Dreame Technology, a manufacturer long known as a major player in the smart home appliances and personal care devices industry, has officially diversified into the automotive sector.

Quoted from Carnewschina.com, Wednesday (29/4/2026), at the global launch event titled “Dreame Next” in Silicon Valley, California, United States, the Chinese company introduced its vehicle, the Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition.

Dreame, founded in 2017, appears serious about challenging the hegemony of conventional hypercars.

The plan to build a car with performance equivalent to the Bugatti Chiron, which was announced last August, has now been realised through the Nebula Next 01.

The system is claimed to produce a maximum thrust of 100 kilonewtons with a very fast response time of 150 milliseconds.

Despite featuring massive power, Dreame ensures vehicle safety remains a priority through the integration of precise electronic control systems.

To support high performance, the Nebula Next 01 is equipped with all-solid-state battery technology based on sulphide with an energy density exceeding 450 Wh/kg.

Compared to conventional lithium batteries, this technology offers better space efficiency, higher energy density, and improved charging safety.

In mass production conditions later, the car is targeted to have a range of more than 550 km (CLTC standard).

The handling sector also receives serious attention through the implementation of full steer-by-wire architecture.

This system supports non-linear cooperative control with 14 degrees of freedom and a response time under 1 millisecond.

Functionally, this technology enables the vehicle to perform complex manoeuvres, from lateral parking and pivot turns to maintaining stability in emergency conditions such as a burst tyre.
