Nearly 4,800 Foreign Companies Expand Investment in China in H1 2026
Nearly 4,800 foreign-invested enterprises made additional investments in China during the first half of 2026, reflecting their continued confidence in the Chinese market, Deputy Trade Minister Yan Dong said on Thursday. During the same period, the number of newly established foreign-invested companies increased by 5.3 per cent year-on-year, while realised foreign direct investment reached 402.14 billion yuan, Yan told a press conference. China’s foreign investment structure continues to improve, with FDI in high-tech industries surging 33.2 per cent year-on-year.
