Nearly 30,000 Prospective Kopdes Merah Putih Managers Undergo Training in Cimahi
A total of 29,830 prospective managers for the Kopdes Merah Putih (KDKMP) village cooperative programme have commenced simultaneous managerial training and certification. This programme is a continuation of previous character building, discipline, and national defence training conducted by the Ministry of Defence, aimed at preparing human resources for the KDKMP. The training is taking place at 15 Army Education Centres, 60 Educational Units, and 451 classes, running from 17 to 29 July 2026, with a closing ceremony scheduled for 30-31 July 2026. Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono officially opened the training at the Army Artillery Education Centre in Cimahi, West Java, on Friday. He stated that the training is designed to produce managers who possess character, professionalism, and competence according to national standards. Ferry noted that following their previous national defence training, participants are now receiving instruction to strengthen their skills in financial management and cooperative operations. The curriculum comprises 90 teaching hours, featuring 12 modules and 42 subjects, including 10 competency certification modules for KDKMP managers.
