STOCKHOLM (Reuter): Swedish construction company NCC said yesterday it had signed an agreement with two other European builders, Germany's Strabag and Italy's Impregilo to cooperate in Southeast Asia.
This will involve opening joint representational offices in Manila in the Philippines and in Jakarta, Indonesia.
A number of NCC employees will be stationed in the new offices, NCC said in a statement.
"Together with Strabag and Impregilo, we will now have the know-how and resources to undertake large-scale projects in Southeast Asia," NCC's chief executive Jan Sjoqvist said in the statement.
