Navy ready to assist KPU

SURABAYA: The Indonesian Navy is ready to aid the General
Elections Commission (KPU) in distributing ballot boxes
throughout the archipelago as the election draws near.

Navy deputy chief Vice Adm. I Wayan Argawa said the Navy had
readied a fleet of 36 ships and several aircraft for the task,
and were waiting for word from the KPU. -- JP
