National Transportation Day: TransJakarta Fare Rp 1 Today, Everywhere

In commemoration of National Transportation Day 2026, observed on Friday (24/4/2026), the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is providing a special fare of Rp 1 for the public using public transportation.

This programme covers all modes of public transport managed by the DKI Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD), including TransJakarta services.

Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of TransJakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated that TransJakarta customers can enjoy the special Rp 1 fare across all TransJakarta services, both Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and non-BRT.

“This momentum of National Transportation Day provides an opportunity to encourage the public to become more familiar with public transportation,” said Ayu in an official statement.

For additional information, this special fare is in effect for a full day, from 00.00 WIB to 23.59 WIB.

Meanwhile, Mikrotrans services, TransJakarta Cares (Transcare), and free services for eligible beneficiaries under the Rp 0 fare category will continue with their previous fare schemes, in accordance with DKI Jakarta Provincial Governor Regulation Number 160 of 2016.

As part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, TransJakarta continues to strive to provide safe, comfortable, and inclusive public transportation services for all segments of society.

To support ease of mobility, customers can obtain route and service information through the TJ: TransJakarta application or official social media channels.

“We hope this momentum can further increase public interest in using public transportation, not only on National Transportation Day but also as part of a more efficient and environmentally friendly daily mobility lifestyle,” emphasised Ayu.
