National Traffic Chief Attends Jasa Marga Unified Ceremony: Collaboration and Synergy Key to Success
As a demonstration of cross-sectoral synergy and collaboration, the National Traffic Police Commander (Kakorlantas) of the Indonesian National Police Irjen Agus Suryonugroho attended a Jasa Marga Unified Operational Alert Ceremony for the Ramadan and Eid-al-Fitr 1447 Hijri Holiday at TMII on Tuesday, 10 March. This ceremony formed part of preparations for managing the holiday exodus and return traffic in connection with Operation Ketupat 2026.
Attending the event were the Ministry of Public Works representative Wilan Octavian, Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A Purwantono, Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan, and PT Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.
On this occasion, Irjen Agus emphasised that various parties had prepared themselves to support the smooth conduct of this year’s Eid security operation through inter-agency synergy established from the outset.
“All preparations for Operation Ketupat, from stakeholders and synergy, from the Ministry of Transportation, from the Ministry of Public Works, all ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Jasa Marga directors, Jasa Raharja, and everyone is ready,” said Irjen Agus.
The unified ceremony held together with Jasa Marga personnel signalled that all involved parties were on alert status. He assessed that the success of security operations in the previous year was key to improving service quality this year.
“This morning we are conducting a Jasa Marga Unified Alert ceremony, which of course signals that we are all ready. The security success of Operation Ketupat 2025 last year was quite good, but this year of course we must improve upon it,” he added.
The Traffic Commander also appreciated the Unified Alert Ceremony conducted by Jasa Marga. This formed part of stakeholder readiness in supporting the success of Operation Ketupat 2026.
“As the person representing the National Police Chief, I of course convey extraordinary appreciation, especially to Jasa Marga which is currently preparing the unified ceremony,” he said.
Operation Ketupat 2026 focuses not only on traffic management, but also represents a humanitarian operation aimed at guaranteeing public comfort and security during the Ramadan through Eid-al-Fitr period.
“Operation Ketupat in 2026 is a humanitarian operation, not merely a traffic operation, not only securing the holiday exodus and return traffic, but Operation Ketupat this year, the state is present together to guarantee social and spiritual moments, safeguarding community activities from the holy month of Ramadan through Eid-al-Fitr,” he stressed.
The key to Operation Ketupat’s success is collaboration. The Traffic Commander is confident that through synergy and collective action, the success of the 2026 Eid holiday traffic flow can be ensured.
“We are confident that the key to the success of Operation Ketupat 2026 is collaboration, synergy, and of course unity in the field. Together we can, together we are strong, and together we succeed,” he concluded.
