National social solidarity

From Suara Pembaruan

We witness many jobless people and vagrants moving about on
public streets and in the outskirts of the city. They may be
partly blamed for the disorder and uncleanliness of the city, but
they have the right to live an ordinary life.

Imagine how much they have to suffer because they do not have
the necessary skill to do a certain job. The government has done
much to sort out this particular problem, but very little has
been achieved. Many circles in the community have contributed to
help solve the problem.

This calls for serious considerations as we approach National
Social Solidarity Day -- Dec. 20, 1995.
