National Sharia Bank Targets Strengthening Digital Services, Ready to Capture Sharia Economic Opportunities

PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN) is targeting the strengthening of digital-based sharia services to meet customer needs while capturing the vast potential of the sharia economic market in Indonesia. This move is part of the acceleration of transformation being undertaken by the company. President Director of PT Bank Syariah Nasional Alex Sofjan Noor stated that digital transformation is the bank’s main strategy for improving service quality for customers. This effort is also expected to strengthen BSN’s role in supporting the development of the national sharia economy. “Therefore, we are ready to accelerate the transformation towards becoming digital, in order to meet the service needs of customers,” Alex said after receiving an award at the 2026 Republika Sharia Awards (ASR) in Jakarta, Wednesday (1/7/2026). According to Alex, the growth opportunities for the sharia financial industry in Indonesia remain very large. This condition encourages Bank Syariah Nasional to continue strengthening its transformation to be able to present services that are increasingly relevant to the needs of the community. He assessed that the development of digital services is an important step to expand the reach of sharia services. This transformation is also expected to increase the competitiveness of sharia banking amidst changing customer needs.
