Jakarta - The National Selection Committee (Panselnas) has officially revoked the Rp100 million penalty provision for participants in the selection of employees for the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) and Merah Putih Fishermen’s Villages (KNMP) through Announcement Number 09 of 2026. The policy adjustment was made as part of continuous improvement efforts to the selection process, according to a written statement from Panselnas in an official release by the Government Communications Agency (Bakom) RI in Jakarta on Thursday. The move was taken to ensure the selection process remains open, accountable, and provides the widest possible opportunity for the nation’s best sons and daughters to contribute to the government’s priority programmes. ‘Thus, every participant can follow all stages of human resource training and development more freely and focus fully on self-capacity building,’ the official Panselnas announcement stated. Although the penalty provision has been revoked, Panselnas still emphasises the importance of commitment and responsibility for participants declared to have passed the selection, urging them to demonstrate seriousness and dedication in following every stage of the programme. Participants who have previously withdrawn can resubmit their confirmation of willingness to participate in the human resource training and development stages through the official Panselnas portal. The confirmation period is open from 17 to 23 June 2026 at 10.00 WIB to ensure that the human resource needs for the KDKMP and KNMP programmes are optimally met in support of the success of the government’s priority development programmes.
