The name Koko Erwin first emerged from a press conference held by AKP Malaungi’s lawyer, Asmuni.
He said that his client, in the minutes of the examination as a suspect in the drug trafficking case at the Directorate of Narcotics Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police, had revealed all the parties involved.
From a series of examination reports in front of police investigators, AKP Malaungi, when he served as Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Bima City Police, admitted to knowing Koko Erwin as a drug kingpin who gave him 488 grams of crystal methamphetamine at the Marina Inn Hotel, Bima City, at the end of 2025.
The delivery of the crystal methamphetamine in five plastic bags was said to be a follow-up to the bribe of Rp1 billion from Koko Erwin.
The kingpin, who is reportedly an experienced player, handed over the Rp1 billion with the intention of helping AKP Malaungi fulfill his superior’s wish, to have the latest Alphard car worth Rp1.8 billion.
AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, as the Chief of the Bima City Police, was also mentioned in the examination report, welcoming Koko Erwin’s intention and arranging a plan with his subordinate, AKP Malaungi, so that Koko Erwin’s crystal methamphetamine business would run smoothly in the jurisdiction of the Bima City Police.
Based on AKP Malaungi’s testimony in front of investigators, Koko Erwin and AKBP Didik now officially have the status of suspects.
