National Police Traffic Corps Establishes 25 Integrated Service Posts for Eid Holiday Exodus
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) is preparing 25 integrated service posts, strategically located in key areas from Palembang to East Java, to operate throughout Ramadan and the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming period. Director of Security and Safety (Dirkamsel) of Korlantas Polri, Brigadier General Prianto, stated in a press release received in Jakarta on Wednesday that these integrated service posts will not only serve as security checkpoints but also as service centres for travellers. These posts will offer various facilities, including express vehicle repair services, medical personnel or doctors, places of worship, children’s play areas, rest areas, and services for people with disabilities. Prianto explained that the posts are being established in locations identified through surveys as being prone to traffic congestion. “I have inspected several key locations that, based on data from previous years, tend to experience traffic bottlenecks or overcrowding. This survey is not only to find alternative solutions but also to determine the locations of the integrated service posts,” he said. In West Java, the posts will be located at the Gedung Juang Tambun Bekasi post, the Losarang Indramayu Weighbridge post, the RM Markoni Subang post, the Technopark Tasikmalaya post, the Tugu Gentur Cianjur post, the Kantor Benih Ikan Subang post, and the Dermaga Sunda Nagreg post. Meanwhile, in East Java, the posts will be located at the Karanglo Malang post, the Omah Jawa Magetan post, the Mantingan Ngawi post, and the Kraksaan Probolinggo toll exit post. In Central Java, the posts will be located in Pringsurat Temanggung, the Blandong Comal Pemalang post, the SPBU Ajibarang intersection, the Valet Ride Nasmoco Klampok Brebes, the post in front of the Klonengan truck parking area on Jalan Kaligayam, the SPBU Ambarawa Ngampin Semarang, and in front of the Sayung Police Station. In the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the posts will be located in Tempel Sleman, Druwo Bantul, and Temon Kulonprogo. In Banten, they will be located at the Cikande Serang post and the Disperindag post. In Lampung, they will be located at the Begadang V Bandar Lampung post, and in Palembang, at the KM 14 Talang Kalapa Banyuasin post. These integrated service posts are expected to support travellers in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and smooth journey throughout the Ramadan period and the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming.
