National Police Pursue Drug Trafficker Boy and Courier in Koko Erwin Network

Jakarta — The Indonesian National Police (Polri) are actively pursuing two drug trafficking suspects: A. Hamid alias Boy, an alleged drug dealer, and Satriawan alias Awan, a courier within the suspected drug network of major trafficker Koko Erwin.

According to Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at the Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) of Polri, both individuals have been placed on the wanted persons list (DPO).

“Currently, search and pursuit operations are being conducted jointly by officers from the Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri and the Narcotics Directorate of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police,” he stated in a confirmation made in Jakarta on Monday.

“The suspect Malaungi, during the period from June 2025 to November 2025, received a total of Rp1.8 billion from A. Hamid alias Boy as attention money,” he explained.

Malaungi subsequently transferred these funds to former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, who has been designated as a suspect in a narcotics case within Bima City Police Station.

Regarding Boy’s physical description, Eko noted that the suspect stands approximately 171 centimetres tall with a stocky build, wavy black hair, dark skin, round eyes, an oval face, and thick eyebrows.

Boy, he added, works as a driver and resides in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara. Previously, Boy was sentenced to six months imprisonment related to a Class I narcotics abuse case on 29 July 2021.

In the broader narcotics case involving Koko Erwin, Awan’s role was to transport approximately one kilogramme of methamphetamine that Erwin obtained from someone in Aceh Besar for distribution in the Bima City area of West Nusa Tenggara.

Regarding Awan’s physical description, Eko revealed that the suspect stands 160 centimetres tall, has a missing front tooth, fair skin, short greying hair with some balding, and bears a distinctive large scar on his leg.

By profession, Awan is self-employed. He resides in Lampe Village, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara.
