National Police Promise Transparency in Legal Process for Brimob Member Case in Tual
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding transparency and accountability in legal proceedings following a violence case that occurred in Tual City, Maluku. The incident involved a Brimob (Mobile Brigade) member and resulted in one fatality and another victim suffering serious injuries requiring intensive care treatment.
During a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, 25 February, Polri Public Relations Chief Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir stated that the police will not hesitate to take firm action against individuals who act in violation of regulations and professional standards.
