National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Seizes 10 Pieces of Evidence from International Drug Lord Andre Fernando 'The Doctor'

Indonesia’s National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) has successfully secured at least 10 important pieces of evidence in the arrest of international drug lord Andre Fernando alias The Doctor. The seized items include advanced communication devices to luxury belongings owned by the suspect.

Head of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate of Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General of Police Eko Hadi Santoso, revealed that this seizure is part of efforts to deepen the investigation into the international drug network controlled by Andre.

“The secured evidence includes two iPhone units, one iPhone 17 Pro Max in blue and one iPhone 17 R in black,” said Brig Gen Pol Eko in an official statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

In addition to top-class telecommunication devices, investigators also seized several accessories and personal documents belonging to the suspect. The details of the secured evidence are as follows:

All the evidence is currently undergoing digital forensic examination and further investigation to trace the flow of funds and the suspect’s communications with his network.

Andre Fernando has been on the Wanted Persons List (DPO) since 1 March 2026. He is strongly suspected of being the main supplier of narcotics to the Koko Erwin syndicate in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, as well as the distribution network in the White Rabbit nightclub in Jakarta.

After being a fugitive for several weeks, Andre was finally apprehended by the Bareskrim Polri team on Monday, 6 April 2026. Currently, the suspect is undergoing intensive examination to uncover the involvement of other parties in the international syndicate.
