National Police Commission Office Moves to Duren Tiga, No Longer in PTIK Complex
JAKARTA - The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) office has officially moved from the Police Science College (PTIK) complex in Melawai, Kebayoran Baru, to Duren Tiga, Pancoran, South Jakarta.
This relocation was inaugurated by Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security (Menko Polkam) and Kompolnas Chairman Djamari Chaniago, along with National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, on Monday (5/5/2026).
“Today, I, together with the National Police Chief, am inaugurating the use of the new office for Kompolnas. Previously, Kompolnas was located near the National Police Headquarters there, and now it has moved here,” said Djamari during a press conference at the Kompolnas office on Monday.
According to him, the new location was chosen so that the public does not hesitate to come and feels more comfortable because it is in an area open to the general public.
“And to eliminate reluctance to come to the area around PTIK. And we at Kompolnas also feel proud when we are here inaugurating this,” he emphasised.
Djamari also hopes that the new building will improve Kompolnas’s performance, even though its location is farther from the National Police Headquarters and the Coordinating Ministry for Politics, Law, and Security.
“Whoever needs to provide input to Kompolnas in order to support Kompolnas’s work for the improvement of all, the improvement of the police as well as Kompolnas itself, will certainly be more easily achieved by our society,” he emphasised.
