National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo today continued his Ramadan safari programme in East Java alongside members of the Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPSI). The Police Chief engaged in solidarity visits and strengthened coordination with all workers in East Java.

The solidarity gathering was held at the KSPSI East Java Regional Office headquarters on Jalan Raya Lontar Candi Lempung, Surabaya, on Tuesday, 10 March 2026. Upon arrival, General Sigit and his delegation were warmly welcomed by KSPSI President Andi Gani Nena Wea and regional leadership officials.

Also present at the venue was East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa. The Police Chief was accompanied by several senior officials from the National Police headquarters, including Intelligence and Security Commander Yuda Gustawan, Human Resources Deputy Commander Irjen Anwar, Logistics Deputy Commander Irjen Suwondo Nainggolan, Public Relations Commander Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, and Health Services Commander Irjen Asep Hendradiana.

Also in attendance were the Criminal Investigation Directorate’s Head of Labour Task Force Brigjen Moh Irhamni, East Java Regional Police Commander Irjen Nanang Avianto, senior officials from the East Java Regional Police, and regional police chiefs.

The Police Chief and delegation began activities by visiting a health service clinic held at the venue. The community health initiative provided specialist services for internal medicine, dental care, basic laboratory examinations, tattoo removal procedures, ear-nose-throat treatment, and other medical services.

As a gesture of concern during the holy month, the Police Chief, alongside the East Java Governor and KSPSI President, symbolically distributed aid to orphaned children. Additionally, 2,000 packages of groceries were distributed to representatives of workers across East Java to help ease their economic burden.

During the event themed “Strong Solidarity, Prosperous Workers,” operational assistance was also provided, including one Hilux Rangga vehicle unit and sound system equipment. The KSPSI President, accompanied by the Police Chief, handed over the assistance to the Head of KSPSI East Java Regional Office to support the organisation’s activities.
