Semarang — National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo called upon all sectors of the nation to unite in realising the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

The National Police Chief made this statement during a Ramadan safari event at the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters on Monday, 16 March 2026.

On this occasion, Sigit emphasised that unity among all elements of the nation is the key to achieving the Indonesia Gold 2045 vision amid current global challenges and conflicts.

“This is certainly a significant task for the government and for all of us to manage the impacts of this escalation,” he said.

The National Police Chief stated that the government is currently undertaking various diplomatic efforts to maintain peace in the international arena.

Meanwhile, Sigit noted that the government is also working to maintain the availability of oil and energy sources amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East region.

“To ensure our oil sufficiency remains maintained and, praise be to God, for several months ahead our oil will continue to be in a state of adequacy,” he said.

For this reason, the National Police Chief urged the public not to panic or purchase fuel excessively. He assured that fuel stocks remain more than sufficient, particularly during the Eid holiday travel period.

“Similarly, our food stocks are also adequate. So our hope is that the public need not panic, which could lead to panic buying and that would certainly impact the actual stock situation, when in fact everything is available,” he explained.

As such, Sigit called upon all parties to unite and support the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.

Furthermore, he said, the government is currently promoting self-sufficiency in the areas of food, energy, improving human resources quality, and natural resource management.

“So we can be self-reliant in facing existing challenges and we can pursue what has become our collective aspiration to realise the Indonesia Gold 2045 vision,” he said.
