National Police Chief to Inaugurate Red and White Presisi Bridge; Riau Police Chief Inspects Kampar Bridge
Riau’s Regional Police Chief Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan inspected the Red and White Presizi Bridge in Gobah Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. The bridge will be inaugurated by National Police Chief Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Irjen Herry Heryawan departed for Kampar at 10.00 am on the morning of the inspection. His visit to the site was to ensure readiness and smooth proceedings for the inauguration of the Red and White Presizi Bridge.
Irjen Herry Heryawan and his delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of the newly renovated bridge’s condition, including reviewing tent preparations, banner installation, and monitoring the surrounding event area. The bridge was completed within 19 days.
The Red and White Presizi Bridge has specifications of 27.5 metres in length and 4 metres in width. This infrastructure was designed to be sufficiently sturdy to accommodate four-wheeled vehicles, which is expected to improve accessibility and the local economy.
During the inspection, the Kampar Police Chief AKBP Bobby Putra Ramadhan Sebayang, accompanied by the Kapolda, monitored the painting of the bridge deck and pilings to make them more attractive and ready for use during the official ceremony.
The area surrounding the bridge was also planted with grass to appear more verdant and aesthetically pleasing. On the bridge’s side, a Red and White Presizi Bridge banner was erected to mark the future inauguration.
The road surrounding the bridge was also concreted to ensure road structure stability and prevent erosion from water, given the bridge’s position over a river with high rainfall intensity.
“We have conducted a comprehensive inspection and ensured that all preparation aspects meet standards. The situation in the field is safe and conducive, and all event proceedings will run smoothly,” said Bobby in his statement on Tuesday (10 March 2026).
The inspection results demonstrated that the newly renovated Gobah Bridge is ready for use and inauguration, and all relevant parties have been asked to conduct final coordination to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.
