National Police Chief Rotates High-Ranking and Mid-Ranking Officers: Astamaops and Two Regional Police Chiefs

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has carried out a rotation of positions at the high-ranking officer (pati) to mid-ranking officer (pamen) level, including the post of Astamaops Kapolri and two regional police chiefs (Kapolda).

The reshuffle was set out in three telegram letters, numbered SY/1877/VIII/KEP./2026, ST/1878/VIII/KEP./2026, and ST/1879/VIII/KEP./2026, which were released on Sunday (30/8).

Several principal officials of the National Police and regional police chiefs were rotated, one of which was the position of Astamaops Kapolri. That post is now held by Inspector General Roycke Harry Langie.

The position of As SDM Kapolri was also among the rotated posts. That position is now held by Inspector General Jawari.

In addition to the principal officials of the National Police, two regional police chief positions also saw changes. The post of North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief is currently filled by Inspector General Yudo Hermanto. Meanwhile, the position of Southwest Papua Regional Police Chief is now held by Brigadier General Hengki Haryadi.

Kayanma Polri: Senior Commissioner Ian Rizkian Milyardin, replacing Senior Commissioner Yudi Arkara Oktobera

The two regional police chief positions that underwent rotation are:

North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief: Inspector General Yudo Hermanto

Southwest Papua Regional Police Chief: Inspector General Hengki Haryadi
