National Police Chief Promotes Four to Three-Star General Rank
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo led a corps report ceremony for rank promotions at the National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri) in Jakarta on Tuesday (30/6/2026). A total of 41,578 personnel across Indonesia officially received promotions to the next rank.
The promotions encompass various levels, from high-ranking officers to non-commissioned officers. The National Police Chief stated that these promotions serve as a form of structural appreciation for the dedication, loyalty, and tangible contributions of personnel in carrying out their duties to the Bhayangkara institution.
The main focus of the corps report was the promotion of 87 high-ranking officers. Among them, four officers officially attained the rank of Commissioner General (Komjen) or three-star general. Additionally, the National Police Chief confirmed the promotion of 29 high-ranking officers to the rank of Inspector General (Irjen) or two-star general, and 54 middle-ranking officers were promoted to the rank of Brigadier General (Brigjen) or one-star general.
It is hoped that these promotions will serve as motivation for all police personnel to continue improving their performance and professionalism in providing service, protection, and guardianship to the public.
