National Police Chief Officially Promotes Four Generals to Commissioner General
The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has four new three-star generals. Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially promoted four high-ranking officers (Pati) to the rank of Commissioner General (Komjen) during a ceremony at Police Headquarters in Jakarta.
The four officers promoted are Komjen Mulia Hasudungan Ritonga, Komjen Gatot Tri Suryanta, Komjen Helmy Santika, and Komjen Rudi Setiawan.
The promotion is a form of institutional appreciation for the dedication and service of the high-ranking officers. Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, stated that the promotion is not merely a career milestone but carries a greater responsibility.
“This promotion is not just a reward for their career journey, but also a mandate that entails greater responsibility. We hope that all personnel who receive promotions will continue to strengthen integrity, professionalism, and leadership in providing protection, guidance, and the best service to the public,” Isir said.
He added that the trust given by the institution must be met with an increased quality of service. The newly promoted officers are expected to become role models in maintaining integrity, professionalism, and leadership within the National Police. The ceremony, led directly by Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, is part of the career development agenda for Polri personnel. With the addition of these four new Commissioner Generals, the ranks of the police high command are now further strengthened to support the execution of police duties across various fields.
