National Police Chief Meets Prabowo, Reports on Security Situation

President Prabowo Subianto summoned National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. The Police Chief reported on the latest developments regarding the security and public order situation across various regions in Indonesia. The meeting, which was also attended by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, was shared on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account on Thursday (25/6/2026). “The report covers the national security and public order situation as well as various measures being taken by the National Police to maintain stability and support the smooth running of the national development agenda,” Teddy wrote in the post’s caption. General Sigit also conveyed the readiness of the National Police ranks for the organisation of the 2026 Bhayangkara Day commemoration series. Teddy added that Sigit reported on a number of social and community service activities that will be dedicated to communities in various regions across Indonesia. “Various social and community service activities throughout Indonesia have been prepared to commemorate the moment of the National Police’s dedication to the nation and state, as well as to strengthen the institution’s closeness with the public,” Teddy said.
