National Police Chief Meets Prabowo, Reports on Security Situation

President Prabowo Subianto summoned the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. During the meeting, the Police Chief reported on the latest developments regarding security and public order across various regions of Indonesia.

The meeting was shared via the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account on Thursday (25/06/2026). Also present during the meeting were the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, and the Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya.

“The report covers the national security and public order conditions, as well as various steps being continuously taken by the National Police to maintain stability and support the smooth implementation of the national development agenda,” Teddy wrote in the post caption.

General Sigit is said to have conveyed the readiness of the National Police ranks for the series of commemorations for Bhayangkara Day 2026.

Teddy continued, noting that Sigit also reported on several social service and community activities that will be dedicated to the public in various regions across Indonesia.

“Various social service and community activities throughout Indonesia have been prepared to commemorate the momentum of the National Police’s service to the nation and state, while simultaneously strengthening the closeness of the police institution with the community,” said Teddy.
