National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected the Lebaran 2026 exodus traffic flow at Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) in Semarang, Central Java, on Monday, 16 March 2026, at 14:32 Western Indonesian Time. The inspection was conducted to ensure smooth traffic flow at one of the critical junctures on the Trans-Java toll road.

General Sigit and his delegation arrived at Kalikangkung toll gate and, in opening the visit, symbolically presented gift packages to officers stationed at the Integrated Post as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication in managing exodus traffic.

Accompanying the National Police Chief during the inspection were Chief of Police Intelligence General Yuda Gustawan, Operations Assistant to the Police Chief General Mohamad Fadil Imran, Human Resources Assistant to the Police Chief General Anwar, Chief of Police Public Relations General Johnny Eddizon Isir, and Head of Police Traffic Corps General Agus Suryonugroho. Also present were Central Java Regional Police Chief General Ribut Hari Wibowo, Commander of Military Region IV/Diponegoro General Achiruddin Darojat, and Central Java Provincial Secretary Sumarno.

During the visit, the National Police Chief received briefings on infrastructure readiness and traffic engineering. The first briefing was presented by the Director of PT Jasa Marga Semarang-Batang regarding toll road conditions, followed by a briefing from the Central Java Regional Police Traffic Directorate on security strategies and mapping of accident-prone areas across Central Java.

General Sigit provided several responses and instructions to strengthen inter-agency coordination in anticipating increased vehicle volumes. This initiative aims to ensure that travellers feel safe and comfortable during their journeys and arrive at their destinations safely. This aligns with the 2026 exodus campaign slogan: “Safe Exodus, Happy Family”.
